A new addition to the line, with the 2023 Union Atlas Pro bindings, Union somehow managed to take what I felt to be one of the stiffer, more responsive bindings on the market and make them even better. The new footbeds and highbacks keep things light and dialed. If there was ever a binding to help you feel connected and one with your board, this is it. During my review of these bindings, there was never a moment where I felt like my every input wasn’t being instantly transferred to the board.
Shop the Union Atlas Pro BindingsThe newly redesigned carbon injected highbacks on the Union Atlas Pros are lighter and stiffer than ever before, while giving you even more customization on your preferred settings. The new dial knob adjusts your lean angle in smaller increments than previously possible, and the new forged carbon, canted footbeds are the cherry on top of an awesome binding. They’re thinner, stiffer, and provide even more dampening. The ratchet straps on these bindings remain one of my favorites. Easy and quick, these will help keep the skiers in your group from heckling you too much.

The Union Atlas Pros are bindings for those that want their set up to go a little further, a little faster, a little harder. If you’re someone who’s running at 110% from first chair to last, these are for you. They’re stiff and responsive. Unfortunately that means they aren’t the most forgiving. So if you’re looking to cruise along quietly and let the board steer you down the hill, you may want to look elsewhere. But if that isn’t your cup of tea, these may be for you. The right bindings have this way of bringing together the entire set up. Paired up with the Ride Peace Seeker, the Atlas Pros did just that. They took every input and transferred power to the board better than any other set-up I’ve ridden.
These bindings are for the rider looking to step it up a notch. The bindings are engaging and active, and will thrive if you take the wheel and drive them. They respond to the slightest input and will keep you connected with the board. Hard-chargers and active riders have their name written on these highbacks.
The bottom line is that these bindings are for the rider who wants to feel one with their board, to have it feel like a part of your body, and to have it move and react with the slightest input. A hard charging board and a hard charging rider need something connecting the two. This is it.
