Ahhh yes, there's definitely some Magic in those J's. The Armada Magic J skis are an evolution of the innovative JJ; Tanner Hall took it under his wing and beefed it up. With a longer cambered area, longer turn radius, and wider waist, the Armada Magic J is a more aggressive pow slaying beast. Thanks to the AR50 construction, Hybrid Ultralight Core, and EST Freeride Rocker, the ski is maneuverable in tight spots. The sidecut and rocker profile make this ski incredibly stable on steeper slopes and at speed. Matching the skis stride for stride are the burly Salomon STH2 16 Bindings, granting the rider precise, powerful, and pre-release-free control over their sliding sticks. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
