About Armada
The original rider owned and operated ski brand, Armada was founded from a feeling that skiing had become static and needed some shaking up. The originators, including JP Auclair, Julien Regnier, Tanner Hall, and Chris O’Connell, have always been at the forefront of both skiing and ski design, whether it be winning X-Games gold medals or pioneering five-dimensional sidecut (which they call elf shoe technology). Like evo, Armada is a product of the early 2000s and the rise of freeskiing. Born in California and now based in Park City, Armada has always been for skiers, by skiers. They are, as they say, what skiing will become.
Armada’s outerwear designs draw inspiration from within, from looser styles for hand rails or the terrain park to more tailored, technical cuts for the skin track. Armada isn’t holding back on ski development, either. They’ve expanded the Invictus all-mountain and Kufo touring line-ups, all-while fine tuning their stable of award winning park and powder skis.
