The Armada TST Skis will get you through whatever the mountain has to offer. An innovative front rocker gets you on top of the powder but doesn't severely compromise your effective edge length, so you can sock it to the mountain when carving the groomers. The TST is the definitive all mountain ski and will have you beamin’ no matter what the conditions are. A portion of the proceeds of each ski sold are donated to Travis Steeger's Memorial Fund.
EST All Mountain Rocker – Tip rocker with positive camber under foot and no tail rocker. Promotes flotation in the soft snow while giving the ski great drive and edge hold on the hard pack.
Flex Pattern – Tip: 6, Waist: 7, Tail: 6.5 (1=soft; 10=stiff)
Tapered Tip – Tip width is narrower than width at contact point
Dimensions (tip/contact point/waist/tail) – 117/130/100/121 mm (165), 118/131/101/122 mm (174), 119/132/102/123 mm (183), 120/133/103/124 mm (192)
Hybrid Ultralight Core – Ultralight core using select wood stringers that have unusually high strength-to-weight ratios, UltraLight cores allow our widest skis to maintain a light-yet-stable feel.
Laminate Matrix – Deliberate directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity and allows each ski's flex to be precisely tuned. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex; Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski; Tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski.
CK Stringer – Carbon Kevlar combo stringers lie on top of the laminate matrix along the tail to brace the ski. This increases the landing platform, especially when weight is distributed farther back in the ski than intended. It also gives the ski more pop and extends ski life.
AR50 Sidewall Construction – ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.
50/50 Base – A blend of speed and durability, this base is faster than Armada’s S7 base but more rugged than the Comp series.
1.7 Impact Edge – The edge height and width is deliberately smaller and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness to increase durability and decrease weight.
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
