Designed by ski icon JP Auclair, the Declivity was crafted to fill an evolving need: a high performance ski for ski mountaineering and high alpine terrain. Elegantly fusing alpine power and uphill mobility, the Declivity has a longer turn radius as well as Titanal Layers, a Carbon Fiber Layup, and Carbon and Kevlar Stingers for a super stable ski that has a restless soul. The Declivity handles the gnarliest of conditions in the BC and would be a great inbounds ski as well. AR Nose Rocker – Traditional sidecut profile with tip rocker - for all mountain, everyday ripping.
Flex
Armada Flex – Tip - 7, Waist - 8, Tail - 7.5 (1 = Softest, 10 = Stiffest)
Core
Hybrid Tour Light Core – Armada's lightest core specifically formulated for touring.
Laminates
Carbon Kevlar Stringers – Carbon and Kevlar stringers are used in the tail to add pop and extend life.
Carbon Fiber Layup – Carbon fiber strips laid in from tip to tail add liveliness to ski.
Laminate Matrix – Directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity.
Titanal – Two layers of metal provides stability at the highest of speeds.
Sidewalls
AR50 Sidewall – Cap in the tip and tail, sidewall under foot - balancing performance characteristics with lower swing-weight and increased durability.

Comp Base – Quite simply, Armada's fastest base.

1.7 mm Impact Edge – Light, strong and heat treated for durability.

All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm. Alpine Touring Also known as backcountry skis, alpine touring (AT) skis are designed for going uphill as well as downhill. These skis are typically light for their width and many feature fittings that accept climbing skins. AT skis vary in width and weight, with the wider heavier versions usually used for winter/deep snow touring and the skinnier, lighter skis usually used for spring/summer/long distance touring.

Rocker Type
Rocker/Camber Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
