Armada AR6 Skis 2008- All Armada’s years of “progressing the sport” have led to this ski. Skiing finally has its new identity. The Armada AR6 is here for those park skiers who ride the entire mountain. Armada addressed park features first with weight, durability and flex. The Armada AR6 starts with lightweight, all-wood AR Core 1 and heat-treated 2.5 Impact Edge. Armada incorporated a variable flex profile to enhance the performance of its solid overall flex, while the Carbon Fiber Stringers in the tail of the ski creates pop and torsional stiffness. As one of the firmest park skis out there, you’ll be able to hold an edge carving off the lip or in variable snow on the steeps. Renowned artist Mad Steez put his finishing touch on this ultimate all-mountain ski for the park rider.

S7 Base- This sintered base provides both speed and durability. Minimal tuning required and it’s easy to repair.
2.5 Edge- These oversized edges are heat treated to Armada’s custom specifications to help minimize edge breakage and maximize durability.
Sandwich Fiberglass- The perfect blend of Uni & Bi directional composite fiberglass mixed with carbon fiber stringers creates a union that provides positive edge control and precisely the right amount of torsion and pop.
AR Core 1- New this year. The AR1 Core is the most durable core by more strategically targeting the center and outer edge of the core with a strong wood laminate and complimenting it with strong and stable lighter wood. The decreases overall weight and lowers swing weight, while increasing strength and liveliness.

Park & Pipe Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
