The waves in the graphic give you a pretty good hint - the Cardiff Swell Enduro Splitboard is a backcountry device for the deepest and dreamiest days on your calendar. This surf-inspired ride provides mega-float and the ability to slash and smear like a maniac, where and when you please. The fact that it's also a splitboard means your pow day isn't over by 10:30 AM, when the hoardes have slashed it to shreds. The Cardiff Swell Enduro Split is that niche ride that every dedicated powder rider needs in their quiver.
HALFcamber60 – The Cardiff HALFcamber places camber where it is absolutely necessary and gradual rocker everywhere else. The result is maximum glide, maneuverability and edge control. HALFcamber60 means 60% of the running surface is cambered.
PROflex (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – 156cm: 6 // 160cm: 7 // 164cm: 7
PERFECTpivot 2.0 – Every Cardiff snowboard is uniquely designed to match the shape to the camber - resulting in a new standard of performance.
RADIcALSIDECUT™ – Blend of Radial and Progressive sidecuts are used on all CARDIFF boards to give each board a unique character.
CARBONcore – Cardiff Enduro cores feature a poplar-paulownia construction with vertical layers of carbon fiber in-between. This simple detail helps the core retain its shape for years.
FULLplank™ – Cardiff splitboard cores run tip to tail with special reinforce-ments in the binding and touring hardware locations.
TRIAXglass – Two layers of triaxial fiberglass above and below the core
UNIwall – Seamless urethane sidewalls fuse to cores to create the most durable and damp ride available - featured on Enduro Series decks.
BOARDERpatrol Technology – BOARDERpatrol technology uses poplar stringers which fuse with the UNIwall seamless urethane sidewall to reinforce the edge and provide an incredibly damp ride.
RACEbase™ G – Black graphite infused sintered base for maximized glide and easy repair.
SHRredges™ 2.0 – Sharpened and beveled 2.0mm Hardened Rockwell 48c steel edges for maximum durability and precise control
ENDUROcap – Enduro and Pro Carbon splitboards use a scratch resistant dimpled topsheet for maximum performance and protection
Art by Cardiff
BIloba™ SP – All CARDIFF splitboards feature a chamfered inner edge of the split ski at both the tip and tail to allow for hood free touring and damage free connection
NOVERhang – NOVERhang - Cardiff creates wider-wasted high performance boards that will accommodate larger boot sizes without toe drag... you're welcome.
SWALEtail™ SP – Our unique recurved tails on all CARDIFF splitboards will accommodate a variety of skin tail-clips even those designed for skis
SPLITtech Optimized – All CARDIFF splitboards are optimized for both soft-boot and hard-boot touring setups. Hard-boots typically have longer sole lengths than soft-boots and hard-boot bindings such as Phantom Alphas sit lower to the surface of the splitboard. This requires a slightly wider deck underfoot, which all of our splitboards feature. Our splitboard cores are reinforced in the connection areas and bindings to handle additional forces from the metal and other hard bindings.

Endorsed by hard chargers everywhere, the Spark R&D Surge ST Splitboard Bindings have undergone sufficient change to warrant an upgrade to "ST" - smooth touring - status. Spark's own overmolding process puts low-friction, high strength plastic over existing metal components to reduce friction and increase durability pretty much anywhere the binding moves, making touring smoother, easier and quieter. Still the stiffest of the Spark offerings, the Surge ST also has a re-designed Asym highback and overmolded ST Whammy Bars where the bar meets the baseplate. A no-compromise approach to the riding after the approach.
Improved ST (Smooth Touring) Mode – Spark injection molds a proprietary thermoplastic over existing aluminum or steel parts in a process called "overmolding," reducing friction and improving durabillity.
ST Whammy Bars – Overmolded plastic blend where the climbing wire meets the baseplate to eliminate stickiness. (Note: not backward compatible with previous Arc, Surge or other older models)
ST Touring Brackets – Overmolded with low-friction proprietary plastic over and through the bracket holes in the aluminum base - strong, smoother pivoting, and lasts 4 times longer than the old brass bushing.
CNC Machined Baseplates – CNC machined baseplates remain solid for max stiffness and durability. All of the baseplate side windows have been partially filled to increase durability and strength
Pillow Line Straps – Pillow Line Straps are lightweight, durable, comfortable, waterproof, one-piece molded construction, and made 100% in-house. Surge ST ankle straps are wide and asymmetrical around the boot for incredible all-around support. Toe straps are designed to be used as a toe cap, but also fit nicely as a traditional strap across the top of the boot.
Ladders and adjusters are produced in-house with unique thermoplastics that maintain flex over a wide temperature range.
Proven Burton Buckles
Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highbacks – Asymmetrical design features individual left and right highbacks that slope inward matching the rider’s stance / The upper section is flatter for improved lateral mobility / More material at the base for increased longevity and durability / Higher bottom edge won’t snag on boots with crampon welts or soles that wrap high on the heel
Tool free micro-adjustable from 0° to 22° for complete customization of your forward lean angle
Flippin’ FLAD toggles between your forward lean angle and -13° touring position for easy transitions.
Made with proprietary custom blended materials for improved strength and durability, while minimizing weight.
Lateral slots for our BD Touring Strap for greater edge control while skinning.
