This is the third year of the Jib Stick and its one of the most sought after twin boards in StepChild’s line. Riders in general ride a smaller length board for jibbing and with this board design they kept the width but decreased length – its not like your feet shrink when you ride a shorter board. Why do so many board companies decrease the board width when they make a shorter Jib Board? I dunno…

This is the board of choice for park and rail riders. It has a stable core profile for flinging off jumps as well.
Construction and Core
The JibStick comes with a tip to tail pop/beech wood core. The poplar wood is for flexibility and the beech wood is for strength. The JibStick also comes available with RETT. New for this year there is rocker as well.
Base
The base is a smooth belt finish.
Sidewalls and Edges
This board has the Trojan Rubber sidewalls for impact absorption.

Rocker A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
