Made with environmentally friendly processes and materials, the Inspire features Banana Tech, Mervin's original award-winning full contact all-terrain Rocker/Camber hybrid contour for a forgiving board that's perfect for learning. Beveled edges on the Roxy Inspire BT Snowboard provide a catch-free flow while a medium flex provides a solid foundation without sacrificing that playful feel.

Rocker Type
BT (Banana Technology) – Rocker between the feet with zero camber (flat) from the feet extending out to the top and tail. The snowboard's arch between the feet improves turn initiation. Banana performs well across the entire mountain.
Flex
5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A medium flex is perfect for all mountain boarders of any ability level. The precision and stability of a stiff board without losing the forgiving and playful feel of a softer board.
Shape
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch. The nose and tail are identical and the flex distributes throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are symmetrical.
Core
Kind Hearted Core – The core is the most defining factor of a snowboard. Its shape, type of wood, and contour determine how the board will ride and respond to varying conditions. The Kind Hearted Core consists of kinder, softer wood crafted from fast growing, sustainable farmed timbers that include FSC certified wood.

Rocker A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.

Soft The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
