The Rome Reverb Snowboard is the golden child in the Rome family. Designed with Stay Positive Camber to give that distinctive pop in the nose and tail for effortless takeoffs and Basalt Impact Plates allowing for smooth landings. The Pop Core Matrix and mellow flex profile gives a perfect blend of balance and response to press on boxes, hit every jump on the mountain, and stay afloat during epic powder days. Stay Positive Camber – Positive camber from contact point to contact point for an ultra-responsive feel. Reliable and durable stiffness while maintaining a distinctive pop.
Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A medium flex for a mix of playful and powerful riding.
Sidecut
True Twin – Everything from the center of the board out towards the nose and tail is exactly the same. Perfect for riding switch.
Core
HotRods: Glass Single Barrel – A thin glass rod is milled into the centerline of the board under the bindings and out towards the nose and tail, which provides more pop, without adding any unwanted stiffness.
Laminates
Basalt Impact Plates – Thin reinforcements beneath your bindings to increase strength against core compression caused by bindings
StraightBiax Carbon Laminate – 90-Degree biax fibers give a solid foundation for freestyle fun. Carbon decreases weight and adds flex to add height to ollies for bigger pop.
Pop Core Matrix – Two zones of lightweight wood paired with a body of responsive poplar make for a smooth and fun board for freestyle riding, and give snap and pop for all mountain riding.
Base
SinterTrue Base – Strong and wax absorbent sintered base allows for an average day of all mountain and park riding.

Camber Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
