Snowboard

Yes. 420 Snowboard 2024

The Yes. 420 Snowboard is your new best bud. This thing floats like a cloud. A classic cambered pow board with a mid stiff flex, the 420 will have you riding high on top of fresh pow. Shorter boards that turn like a dream are all the rage, and Yes has been in the game long before pow surfing was legal. Let's be blunt, the Yes. 420 Snowboard is dope!

Product Details

Rocker Type

CamberCamber is the base of snowboarding: you need to have enough edgehold to drive in and out of turns. The camber does exactly that, allowing you to drive your turns longer and release later.

Flex

Flex Rating7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

Shape

Radial TaperedInspired by Steve Lis and the revolution that occurred when kneeboards influenced surfboard design. Powder is all about speed and flotation. Displacement of a board’s volume is affected by more than just length. With the 420, Yes. is able to get the stability and float normally associated with much longer boards by punching out the waist width and drastically chopping the length. For example, the 148 has the same circumference and base surface as a traditional 160, but it’s mass is located much closer to your feet resulting in more maneuverability and far less swing weight. A slight taper (12mm) helps keep the nose up without losing the tail’s ability to hold in hard-pack. Stance is only slightly set back from center of effective edge because the difference in nose and tail shovel keeps you from going over the nose.

Directional Weird

Core

Weightless CoreThe Weightless Core strikes a critical balance between light weight and strength. Using a lower density species of Poplar in areas that are not as structured and Paulownia in the areas that are, Yes. was able to shave precious weight. This helps the board not only float, but "feel" floaty.

Laminates

Biaxial Glass

Base

Sintered TrueTrue Sintered bases are harder and more expensive than extruded, and can be faster for those that ride aggressively.

Straps

Asym S-Sense StrapThe minimalist approach of the ASYM S-SENSE strap is everything you want in a strap and nothing you don’t. Thanks to the very light single-piece-injected construction, it contours every type of boot without inducing any pressure points, and it has just the right flex.

3D Contour Toe StrapIf you just can’t get enough grip, then the 3D Contour Toe Strap is what will make the cut. This strap is not only super grippy but also moldable, and can be used on either the tip or top of your boot.

NOW Tool-less Adjuster Straps

Ankle Hinge ConnectorA minimalist but strong hinge design allows your straps to move out of the way, with a stop mechanism to prevent them flopping around.

Buckles

PA66-GF Buckle LeversMade with the same high grade nylon and glass fiber blend found in posts and discs. This material is light and strong.

Additional Features

Skate TechInspired by how easily and efficiently a skateboard turns, Skate Tech mimics the function of skateboard trucks. Traditional bindings diminish energy transfer by flexing and bending the baseplate, forcing you to crank straps down harder, ride with more forward lean, or run taller and stiffer highbacks. Skate Tech bindings bypass the middle of the snowboard and direct your energy right onto the board's edges, transfering more power to the board with less work.

Highcup CompatibilityCompatible with all hangers. Low profile for extra flexibility. Street, park and pow.

Combo Mounting Disc 4x4 - ChannelMounting disc is Nylon reinforced. 4x4 and Channel compatibility. Minimal board fixture. Light and strong
