Salomon Code Snowboard Bindings 2011 – Simple, solid, and true, the Salomon Code Snowboard Bindings deliver all of the high performance basics: the new 3D Prime Core Strap, Asymmetrical Drumframe Highback, Full EVA Padding and new Viper Ratchets. What matters when you’re out there risking your neck? That they’re simple, comfortable and tough.
The Composite 30% Transfer baseplate promises you’ll get the most of these bindings as it’s more rigid than Salomon’s competitor’s low end plastic and more durable and comfortable than aluminum. Performance is maximized and the comfort is undeniable.
The Asymmetrical Drumframe highback is, believe it or not, asymmetrical in shape and flex for increased lateral support and better medial mobility.
The lightweight 3D Prime Core ankle strap curves perfectly to the shape of your boot for a crease-free flex, with super durable Cordure piping that’s built to last. The adjustable toe ramp is a dual layer toe pad with super easy adjustability for the best transmission on toe edge, pairing with the True-Grip Fast-Fit toe straps that are lighter weight, soft to touch and grips your toe box without crushing, with one less step when strapping in and one more dialed in detail that works. To top it off, the Viper Aluminum Buckle has increased rachet throw to get you a deeper grip with less effort, so your straps go on lightening fast and the new three point hinge mechanism and easy grip shape makes for a quick and easy release.
Power Heel Lock, Full EVA padding softens the contact by absorbing the vibrations, and IMS, Salomon’s patented trick for keeping your disc screws in place while adjusting your bindings on the fly or swapping out boards.
