The Nitro Alternator Snowboard hits the sweet spot for those splitting their time between resort laps and backcountry bootpacks. A medium stiff flex and full camber profile give the Alternator tons of pop and power to drive from turn to turn, even in challenging snow conditions, with a directional shape and setback stance to keep you trenching when the snow is deep and plentiful.

Trüe Camber – Good old standard camber, which provides the stability and pop many shredders can't live without. The amount of snap and support you get from a cambered board is unrivaled.

Dual Degressive Sidecut – This sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger radii in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro's most forgiving sidecut.

Powerlite Core – The highest grade of ultra-lightweight poplar wood in Nitro's Powerlite core makes for the perfect ride with lots of pop and unmatched strength at a minimum weight.

Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
