The CR Johnson Memorial Skis have seen little change since he poured his soul into designing that last ones, but the wood core and Rocker/Camber profile have buttery flex in pow and an ogre-strong grip in chalky chop that make the whole mountain your playground, just as CR intended.

Shape
A traditional camber and sidecut grab old snow and cat tracks so you can still get rowdy weeks after the storm. The raised tip and tail are tapered to bring the edge contact closer to your boot for better control and float in everything from deep pow to crud.
Construction
A sandwich construction fuses the core, fiberglass, base and top sheet between the sidewalls for strength and stability during face-melting speeds.
An X4 Dampening system features rubber foil between the edge and core to silence chatter at high speed turns without giving up CR’s engineered flex.
Long lasting Q45 fiberglass sheets add longitudinal and torsional stiffness for sustained raging on crud and hardpack between righteous Tahoe dumps.
Deflect ABS sidewalls and a 360 full wrap metal edge channel the power from your ski bum legs directly to the snow for controlling your downhill destiny.
Flex
A Hi-Lite wood core is made of Poplar and Beech to create a snappy yet lightweight composition to support wider skis in soft snow.
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm. Big Mountain Big mountain skis are designed for charging big lines with high speeds and big airs. These skis varry in width from wide, powder-oriented skis for skiing Alaska spines to narrower, mixed condition skis for ripping the beat up headwall at your local mountain. Skis in this category tend to be on the stiffer side, often with more rocker in the tip and less in the tail.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
