For as long as the sun is shining, you'll have a source of power with the Goal Zero Nomad 7 Solar Panel in your outdoors arsenal. Weighing in at less than a pound, the Nomad 7 is an ultra lightweight, portable, and rugged device that efficiently harnesses radiation from the sun to power electronic devices. Leash it to your pack on long hikes and charge on the move. Don't need power right away? Pair it with an external battery charger and save the power for a rainy day. High efficiency, portable solar power is here and the Goal Zero Nomad 7 Solar Panel is staking it's claim as the standard for others to follow.
Power Ports on Back of Solar Panel
USB Port – 5V, up to 1A (5W max), regulated
Mini-Solar Port – 6.5V, up to 1.1A (7W max), not regulated
Solar Port – 15V, up to 0.3A (5W max), regulated
9 x 1.5 x 6.5 in (22.9 x 3.8 x 16.5 cm)
Chainable – It is possible to chain the Nomad 7 to other GOAL ZERO panels with the 4.7mm extension cord. However, the Nomad 7 doesn't have an input port like GOAL ZERO's other panels, so it can only be the 'caboose' in a chain of other GOAL ZERO panels.
What can the Nomad 7 Solar Panel charge? – The Nomad 7 will directly charge most USB and 12V devices (not tablets). [Cell phones, smartphones, GPS, MP3 players, etc.]
What Goal Zero products work best with the Nomad 7? – Goal Zero Switch 8 Recharger, Guide 10 Plus Recharger, Rock Out Portable Speaker, and Lighthouse 250 Lantern
Can I use the USB and 12V ports to charge devices simultaneously? – Yes. The Nomad 7 will split the incoming solar power between the two ports to charge devices simultaneously. Some devices may not be compatible.
Weather-Resistant – The Nomad 7 Solar Panel will not be harmed if exposed to rain or snow.
Note – Solar Panels do NOT hold a charge. Panels only produce power while being exposed to sunlight.
