Directional Rocker and Camber Profile (DRC) – DRC is designed to enhance edge hold and stability while maintaining powder floatation. This is accomplished by extending the camber to the end of the effective edge in the nose, increasing pressure over this area. To compensate for this additional pressure, we've shifted the rocker toward the tail making for unmatched carving at high speeds and a more forgiving ride.

Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – 8, a stiff flex for hard charging

Vario Power Grip Sidecut – Multi-radius sidecut adds increased edgehold precisely where it's needed most, from 2 inches outside of each binding and inward toward the center of the board, providing added control and response in any conditions (Sidecut Radius numbers are an average).

The new Carbonium Laminate Technology combines an advanced top and base carbon matrix to maximize torsional response and strength where it's needed most. The result is a lightweight yet powerful design that keep the Carbonium Series boards going stong for years.

STS Pretensioned Fiberglass – The world's best snowboard fiberglass, period. STS ADVANCED FIBERGLASS is pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate that has added elastomer stringers between the 0 degree and 90 degree glass fibers the length of the effective edge. This produces a stronger bond between the individual glass laminates giving this snowboard unmatched strength, edge hold and performance.

Bi-Lite Fiberglass – BI-LITE fiberglass combines many of the strength characteristics of STS ADVANCED fiberglass with an ultra light glass fiber matrix. This delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability.

Carbonium Dampening System (CDS) – The CDS greatly reduces vibration and provides unmatched high speed stability and control. Thin elastomeric rubber stringers reduce vibration from the metal edge and surrounding laminates. Stringers below the inserts and under the carbon dampen any additional vibration near the bindings, giving the Carbonium Series boards a smooth riding feel underfoot without sacrificing snap and power throughout the board.

Sintered P-Tex Sidewall – Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls, that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures, SINTERED P-TEX SIDEWALLS maintain their integrity at any temperature.

Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base – Crown Plastics has developed an exclusive, super fast, durable sintered base specifically for the Carbonium Series. Just the right amount of graphite has been added making it the fastest base NS has ever used.

Fully Wrapped Metal Edge – Provides unmatched carving ability and edge grip

Carbonium Topsheet – A very durable, scratch and chip resistant material with a high tech carbon fiber like visual. This textured material also provides more grip than a gloss topsheet working as a built in stomp pad.

Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers – Elastomeric Rubber Stabilizers directly below the mounting area provide optimum vibration absorption and increase high speed stability while reducing foot fatigue.
