Torsion box has become the most widely used construction because if it’s highly versatile process, and has enabled K2 to build numerous models from entry to expert level skis. While flex and torsion vary, Torsion Box skis share the common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness and energy. Triaxial braiding gives the K2 A.M.P. Photon Skis great torsional strength, while maintaining the lively flex patterns of the wood core.
