The versatile Faction CT 2.0 Skis were designed for ripping the entire mountain. Whether that's chunder-blasting, cat track mobbing, or you're simple searching for a thicker waisted park ski that you can press and butter, the CT 2.0 will get 'er done. Built with clean lines in a fully symmetrical shape, the 2.0 is ideally suited for freestylin' all over the mountain. Score the Faction CT 2.0 Skis while you can -- just thinking about this ski makes us want to go skiing!
Rocker / Camber / Rocker – 10 mm of rocker over 200 mm in the tip, 2 mm of camber underfoot, 5 mm of rocker over 150 mm in the tail.
Medium-Stiff Flex – Stable at speed or on big landings, but still playful enough to butter and press.
Symmetrical Shape – Designed to handle identically forward and switch.
Poplar / Beech Core
Carbon Reinforcing – The carbon layer is used to provide additional strength to the core against use on rails.
Sandwich Construction – Used on most of Faction's skis. A traditional manufacturing method that provides strength, durability, good grip, and edge hold. Rubber is used to dampen vibration and bond the base layers to the core.
Micro-Cap Protection – Continuing efforts to improve chip-resistance in their skis, Faction incorporated a 'micro' cap where the topsheet meets the sidewall on sandwich constructed skis.
Die-Cut PTEX 4000 Base – Used on most Faction Skis. Sintered PTEX 4000 base material is more porous and holds wax well.
Matte Topsheet – Matte ICP8210 topsheets require no lacquering saving around 100gm/pair, and reduces the use of not-quite-environmentally friendly lacquer. It also shows through the natural structure of the underlying laminate layers.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
