Bringing the scale a level higher than you've ever seen before for a versatile high performance ski, the K2 A.M.P. Rictor Skis + Marker MX 12.0 Demo Bindings are ready to shatter all landscapes. The Rictor easily makes itself at home on the steepest, rock-solid groomer or back bowls on a powder day. With the perfect combination of All-Terrain Rocker™, width, and shape; this expert level one-ski quiver will have a range of skiers charging first chair to last.
All-Terrain Rocker™ – Featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance with camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions, this rocker profile increases versatility and ease of turn initiation in all snow conditions.
Progressive Sidecut – A combination of two different radii, this shape enhances the versatility of wider-waist skis by helping initiate turns quicker and distributing energy evenly along the entire effective edge while on hard snow.
Aspen and Paulownia Core – Aspen is solid and dense; Paulownia is an eco-friendly, fast-growing renewable wood that is incredibly strong and lightweight. Together, these two woods provide a lightweight ski with a lively flex.
Titanal – 2 sheets of lightweight Titanal running the length of the ski dampen the ski and increase responsiveness. Alternating layers of fiberglass and Titanal sandwich the wood core to provide dampened, accurate, and unshakable performance.
Hybritech Sidewalls – This unique blend of sidewall and cap construction combines the accuracy, power and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.
The K2 A.M.P. Rictor Skis come with the Marker MX 12.0 Demo Bindings. This high end demo binding can be adjusted by a certified ski technician to accommodate a wide range of boots. The system hubs are functionally wider with a 50 mm footprint, which decreases the distance between the binding and the edge of the ski for added performance.
Always have a certified ski technician adjust your bindings.
Mod Monic Technology – This focused mass-dampening suspension system is made of a solid Zinc mass that focuses on dampening the ski at targeted locations on the Mod structure and absorbing impact loads along the entire ski. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, leaving the overall ski flex unaffected.
