Carbon Flipcore construction finally filters down to the 88 mm class, and boy, was it worth the wait. The Blizzard Brahma Skis + Atomic X12 Demo Bindings improve upon the already superb 2016 version with lower swing weight, less mass to vibrate at the extremities, and even more precise hold in turns. Good skiers who know the value of a narrower ski for railing hardpack should be all over this ski; it's easily a podium finisher in the 85-90 mm all-mountain class in anyone's book.
Rocker / Camber / Rocker – Ski profile with 6 mm of mild rocker at the tip and tail, and camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski easier to handle without sacrificing edge performance, while camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
Tapered Tip & Tail
Poplar-Beech Wood Core
Carbon Flip Core Technology – In an evolution of the famed Blizzard Flip Core process, which starts with the core contour matching the intended rocker profile, 90˚ directional carbon fiber is integrated into the core at the tip and tail, stabilizing the extremities of the ski while reducing swing weight. Win-win for you.
Double Titanal Laminate
Sandwich Compound Sidewall – All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.
Sintered Graphite Base
Atomic X 12 Demo Bindings – DIN Range 4-12
Demo Bindings Come Mounted to Skis – Always have a certified binding technician adjust your bindings.
