Part of the new Vantage Series, the Atomic Supreme Skis + XTE 10 Demo Bindings are equipped with All Mountain Rocker and Step Down Sidewall construction. The half-cap construction at the tip and tail area protects the ski from mechanical damage. The sidewall construction in the binding area improves damping, shock absorption, and therefore edge grip.

Sidecut
Twin Progressive Sidecut – Larger radius at the tip and shorter at the tail for easier turn initiation and optimal grip coming out of turns.

Wood Core – The combination of sidewall ski and wood core ensures lively performance and maintains the flex of the ski at all times.
Sidewalls
Step Down Sidewall – The sidewall construction below the binding improves damping, shock absorption, and therefore edge grip. Half-cap construction at the tip and tail protects the ski from mechanical damage.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
