Nobody rips the backcountry harder than Hoji, and the boot he designed is proof that great engineering and awesome skiing can come in one package. Weighing in at only 1450 grams in a 27.5, the Hoji Pro Tour skis like a top flight overlap 130 flex alpine boot, but happens to also have a super effective tour mode. Unlike Dynafit boots of yesteryear, the Hoji Pro Tour has a relaxed 103.5 mm forefoot with plenty of midfoot and instep room, so high volume feet will finally find some touring boot love.
Last: 103.5 mm – A wide forefoot with substantial volume around the midfoot with a relaxed instep.
Bootfitter's Notes – The Hoji Pro Tour / Hoji PX feature a wide and relaxed last (in other words, not a fit that people have associated with Dynafit in the past) that will work well with high volume feet.
Compares Favorably with Other 130 Flex Alpine Boots
Thermoformable Liner
Shell – Grilamid®
Cuff – Grilamid®
Spoiler – Grilamid®
Hoji Lock – This unique system closes the cuff and locks the spine of the boot for skiing with one lever. The lever is adjustable for "pre-load," enabling the skier to keep play out of the system or adjust for different skiing conditions.
Micro-Adjustable Safety Lock Buckles
Ultra-Lock Strap
Speed Nose Sole – No toe welt at all means a super clean profile for skinning and skiing in 3D snow.
Compatibility – Requires bindings with conventional tech toe and heel pin fittings. Alpine style toes or heels found on bindings like the Kingpin and Shift are out. Consult your shop tech for more detailed compatibility info.
Cramp-In System Available Separately – Ultra light alloy crampons designed specially for the Hoji boots feature a recessed clip attachment under the toe of the boot with steel cable attachments between front and rear of the crampon.
Speed Nose – An ultra short, smooth toebox with no welt is combined with a more rearward toe fitting placement for optimum touring efficiency and minimum snow resistance both uphill and down.
Master Step Light Tech Fittings – This third generation Dynafit exclusive boasts 50% easier step in action and the Quick Step version due to the elongated guidance grooves in the fittings. The Master Step Light heel fitting is stronger and internally anchored (no more screw) and suitable for DIN settings as high as 16.
Snowdynamic Concept – The smoothest possible contours at the nose and side of the boot reduce snow resistance both uphill and down. The rear architecture is also designed to minimize snow buildup and added weight.
