For downhill destruction and lightening speeds the Slash Nahual Snowboard is the obvious choice. A relatively stiff flex and durability boosting carbon fiberglass laminate not only lengthens the lifespan of this deck but also helps preserve its pop, response and agility for days to come. Zero Camber Rocker and a Lightweight Woodcore makes for powerful carving with mega-edge hold, and places rocker in the nose for improved floatation in deep snow. Glide through variable terrain, pop through powder, and carve your way back to the chairlift with east on the Slash Nahual Snowboard under your feet.

Rocker Type
Zero Camber Rocker – Predominantly flat, Slash's Zero Camber Rocker is extremely stable and maneuverable, so the board will ride smoothly through uneven terrain. The nose is slightly rockered for improved float.
Flex
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – Highly responsive and sturdy, great for jumping and taking high speed turns.
Shape
Singular Sidecut – The sidecut features a single radius made for more advanced and intermediate riders who already want to ride fast while having an ample edge hold for carving.
Slick Tip Profile – By reducing the wood thickness and removing the ABS parts at the nose and tail, the board becomes significantly lighter and dampens vibrations.
Ultimate Traction – A small counter radius bump placed in the middle of the board's sidecut results in improved edge hold. In translation, you get more grip on hardpack and ice without needing to put in as much effort, thus reducing fatigue.
Core
Lightweight Woodcore – Made of feather-light dual density Paulownia and Poplar wood with a Beechwood strip down the centerline and the edges for improved grip.
Laminates
Triax Fiberglass – This laminate gives the board a consistent torsional flex, insane pop and heightens response.
Biax Fiberglass – The 0-90 biax fiberglass laminate strengthens the snowboard making it a versatile and strong deck.
Carbonbon – Slash's 100% carbon reinforcement laminate technology extends the lifespan of the deck by making it stronger. Placed between the base and the core, Carbonbon enhances responsiveness, pop, and torsional stiffness.
Landing Strip – Two strips of Kevlar and Carbon are placed from the tail to the inserts and from the nose to the tip of the inserts. This reduces high-velocity quivers.
Base
Sintered HD Base + Factory Wax – Impact resistant, absorbent and dense, the HD base will remain extraordinarily fast when waxed regularly. The deck comes pre-waxed with OneBallJay.
Diamond Stone Finish – Diamond-structured stone grinding occurs on two axes to create a low-friction durable base.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
