For 2018, the Salomonder was updated to feature a freestyle-specific edge bevel for peak park performance straight out of the box! Soft, flexy and damn-near indestructible, the Salomon Salomonder Snowboard is the jibby park board that'll allow you to lay down the greasiest, most buttery presses folks have ever seen!

Super Flat – Flat profile for catch free spins, honest presses and stability.
Flex
Soft Flex – A soft flexing board is more maneuverable at slow speed and more forgiving in general. This flex is great for beginner and intermediate riders and for the advanced rider who prefers a looser more skate like feel for freestyle riding.
Shape
EQ1 Sidecut – A straight line between the inserts allows dialed speed control on approach to rails and jumps. The radial sidecut outside the inserts accommodates both creative and novice turning.
Core
Aspen Strong – CNC-selected high-density FSC certified wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.
Easy Press Core – Tested by Chris Grenier and Jed Anderson in cities far and wide, Easy Press Core manhandles rails and ledges with a softer flex that never buckles. Press the hell out of your board without stacking up a pile of snapped decks.

TriaxGlass Laminate – A fiber and glass tech core that increases board life and durability for all riders.
BA MD – A fiber tech core that increases board life and durability for all riders.
Base
Extruded EG – A harder compound than EXT, Salomon EXT EG takes the easy maintenance of a non-sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics.
Edges
Freestyle Edge Bevel – Detuned tip and tail with a base edge bevel of 2° in the primary contact areas and 3° between the feet makes spins and features that much easier.
Additional Features
No Chips Tips – No Chips Tips turn board blowouts into a thing of the past. Full aluminum tip and tail protection for the most durably designed decks you can get.

Soft The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
