A ridiculously fun pow shape that can handle groomers too, the Niche Ember Snowboard is a carving machine. Its wide blunt nose and mini swallowtail lets you size down from your normal resort board, making it quicker as you search for pow in the trees at the end of the day. Rocker in the nose leads into camber under your back foot, keeping you from going over the bars or washing out. A couple of traction bumps along the way add to carving grip. Niche has partnered with The Mothership factory in Austria to manufacture their boards with zero waste. 100% hydro powered, ZERO CO2 Emissions, and a 100% fully recyclable manufacturing process and product: preserving our planet and our passion for snow. The Ember lets you destroy the pow while preserving it. Great stuff!

Back Seat Camber, Rockered Nose – Back Seat Camber has rocker in the nose leading into traditional camber by the back foot. Designed to float effortlessly through powder, roll through choppy areas, enter turns with ease and power through the exits, and lock-in on groomers.
Flex
7 – Stiff directional flex pattern. Powerful, snappy, and stable.
Shape
Directional Pow – Wide, blunt nose, tapered shape, mini swallow tail, and setback stance for amazing float in deep snow. Initiates and holds turns well on choppy snow and groomers too.

Sustainable Wood Core – A combination of paulownia, poplar, and bamboo.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
