The K2 Subculture Snowboard is beginning to catch fire. No directional boards is safe, the Subculture is a directional twin that pulverizes the frontside of the mountain and can manage the steep and deep. The Lifted Baseline™ is what delivers all-mountain support by loading you up with pressure similar to camber, but keeping a looser feel due to it's flat profile. K2 held nothing back, including Hybritech™ sidewalls and a carbon fiber layup to increase the board's snap for seamless edge to edge carves. Hit the pow on deep days, lap the park when it's bluebird, it's all in a days work on the K2 Subculture Snowboard.
Lifted Baseline™ – Bringing a new level of pop to K2's Baseline offering, Lifted is just what it sounds like. Taking the flat between the feet foundation that all K2 boards are built on and raised it. This brings in the pop of cambered boards while maintaining the neutrally weighted contact points that give you the straight tracking, effortless precision of a flat board.
Twin Hyper Progressive – An infinite number of different radii are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. The result is a super predictable feel that never hooks. Responsive at high speeds and smooth enough to butter your way from the peak to park.
W2 Core – Multiple species of renewable wood are assembled to optimize strength, reduce weight, and enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
Carbon Web™ I – Designed specifically to enhance Baseline technology, K2's Carbon Web brings the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for maximum ollies and control in every situation
ICG 10 – Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs.
Hybritech™ – An efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. This construction features sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail to provide low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation, and durability.
4000 Sintered – This is the fastest base material available, with exceptional durability and wax retention.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Base Bevel: 1º – The base bevel is the degree at which the base edge is tuned to for edge engagement. The more bevel the more rider input is necessary to angle the board for carving precision. With this slight base bevel a rider will experience a mellow ride for softer snow conditions and / or less edge-catch.
