Product Info

Burton Jeremy Jones Mid Wide Snowboard 2011: As dynamic as the man himself, Jeremy Jones’ deck is as good in the woods as it is in the ‘hoods. Add the new Mid Spoon to the equation and you get the crisp pop of camber with added looseness between the feet for a catch-free feel that keeps you in control when cranking turns. Rail Ready™ right out of the wrapper, all sizes are also mid wide for added float and stability.

Product Details

Flex

Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) Twin flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile regular or switch, frontside or backside. Directional flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions. An advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Acting like a suspension, camber creates a lively ride capable of slicing and stomping the entire mountain.

Construction and Core

The Super Fly Core is lightened up and loaded with pop. This vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response.

Shape

The tapered tip and tail thickness of Pro-Tip reduces swing weight for easier mobility and float. Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.

Sidewalls, Edges and Base

With Dualzone EGD, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for superior edge hold and added strength. Triax fiberglass offers versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred. The sintered base is durable and highly porous which offers added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide. 10:45 Sidewalls are extra meaty with dual angle geometry that results in bomber impact absorption. Rail Ready Edge Tune is beveled so you can slide without hang-ups, yet still get grip for slashing and jumping.

Other Features

Don’t toss your old bindings. The New Channel M6 uses a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with all Burton bindings as well as bindings from select competitors. The included M6 Transition Kit contains everything needed to ride pre-2011 Burton disc and EST bindings with the latest generation of The Channel. The Kit includes two retro discs for compatibility with Burton disc bindings as well as a full set of the M6 Transition hardware for compatibility with both Burton disc and EST bindings.
