Built upon Ride's lightweight polycarbonate injected chassis with Wedgie™ footbeds, the KX Bindings provide a comfortable and vibration-reducing feel to keep your feet happy through the literal ups and downs of learning the sport. Plus, with Ride's Compact Disc mounting system, the KX Snowboard Bindings are compatible with 2x4, 4x4, AND Burton's Channel™ boards.

Baseplate
Spectrum™ Chassis System – A lightweight injected polycarbonate chassis with stance correct heel cup. Allows for a budget friendly option that maintains Ride DNA with a progressive look.
Wedgie™ Footbed – An ultra-light footbed that uses subtle angles to align the ankles and knees to a more natural and comfortable position. The angle also gives leverage to press the board for huge pop, without affecting your preferred stance width.
Compact™ Disc – This new lightweight injected disc pairs perfectly with the flex of the new Spectrum™ chassis. Mounts to 2x4, 4x4 and slot/Channel boards.

Slimeback™ KX – Built for riders that tackle all the mountain has to offer, the Slimeback™ KX utilizes urethane materials similar to those derived from Ride's Slimewalls® technology. The Slimeback™ material absorbs shock and dampens vibrations to help smooth the ride while providing fluid support.

Beginner-Intermediate Whether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall.

Soft The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
