Flex
Flex Rating: 2 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – These bindings have a soft flex rating making them ideal for learning thanks to their forgiving, user-friendly feel.
Baseplate
Compact™ Disc – Lightweight injected disc that is compatible with 2x4, 4x4, slot and channel mounting systems.
Wedgie™ Footbed – This ultra-light footbed uses subtle angles to align your ankles and knees to a more natural and comfortable position. This angle also gives leverage for pressing without needing to change your preferred stance width.
Highback
Slimeback™ DE Highback – Built for riders that tackle all the mountain has to offer, the Slimeback™ DE utilizes urethane materials similar to those derived from Ride's Slimewalls™ technology. The Slimeback™ material absorbs shock and dampens vibrations to help smooth the ride while providing fluid support.
Straps
ThinGrip™ Plus Toe Strap – Designed with 3D over-molded rubber to meet the needs for grip and fit with your snowboard boot.
RAD™ Ankle Strap – Pre-curved 3D shaping coupled with multi-density padding provides a more even distribution of pressure across your foot for more comfort and support. In addition the RAD™ features a clean design with a high-end look, built for comfort and performance.

Beginner-Intermediate Whether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall.

Soft The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
