Baseplate
Aluminum Alloy Rockered – Unique for the NX2 this is the stiffest and most responsive baseplate Flow designs.
Highback
Aluminum Alloy Modback – The modular hibacks separate the lower and upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. The Alu Mod-Backs offer more stiffness and response. In the NX2 model the lower zone also automatically triggers Active Strap Technology.
Dual-Entry Versatility – The reclining hiback is a pivotal part for the fastest Dual-Entry.
Reclining Hiback – When you open the reclining highback, a simple system actively lifts up the strap, and this same system tightens the strap automatically when you close the hiback.
Straps
Hybrid Power-Cap-Strap – A revolutionary hybrid between Flow's Dual-Entry convenience and conventional 2-strap SideEntry, merging the best of both in this Dual-Entry configuration. The toe-cap fits snug onto the toe of your boot, and delivers a perfect fit every time.
PowerStrap – These straps cover a larger area of your mid-foot and connect the ankle and toe zones for a more convenient, comfortable, and more powerful riding experience.
Buckles
Aluminum LSR Locking Slap Ratchet – Buckles that give you the option to easily get in and out of Flow bindings any way you want. The aluminum design reduces friction and weight.

OC-Kush Base & Heel-Pad – This cushioning dampens landings and absorbs chatter. Featured on the NX2 series, this OC-Kush basepad fits perfectly to the rockered baseplate shape for efficient energy transfer.

Flex Rating
Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
