Salomon Geisha 100 Skis - Women's 2013: The Salomon Geisha Skis are an everyday twin tip freeride ski for aggressive women skiers. With a rockered tip and 97mm in the waist, they’ve got great floatation in the powder, but also transition really well into carving. You can take them in the trees, in the bumps, the backcountry, steeps and bowls, and everywhere on the piste and be really happy. They also have a bamboo layer and full wood core, which makes them really nimble.
All Terrain Rocker has rocker in the tip and camber underfoot and to the tail. An 80% pressure zone when flat that smoothly transitions to an 95% pressure zone when on edge gives you fluid terrain absorption, easy and progressive turning on groomers, and total precision.
Full Woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound, which maximizes ski/snow contact and filters vibrations.
Bamboo Layer is light and strong
Basalt
Edgy Monocoque offers precise edge grip, no excess material, and efficient energy transfer from the skier to the snow for freeskiing.
Wide Edges are thicker for increased durability and improved shock resistance.
Edge Armor incorporates an extremely durable polyethylene fiber cord cross-laced between the edges of the skis to increase the edge strength.
Total Edge Reinforcement has a fiber directly on the edges providing edge stiffness for improved durability and grip.
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
