New for 2007, the hybrid core is made from three different materials: Poplar for lightness and liveliness, Fume wood for quick response and ski-to-snow feel, plus Microcell for absorbing shocks and vibrations. The Rossignol Scratch series features a layer of Visco in the tip and tail of the ski to absorb shocks and over flexing. Softer flexing tips and tails plus a stiffer mid-section allows the skier to load the tips or tails to spring up on a rail or hop up on top of the pipe.
