Originally conceived as a testing ground for their athlete-driven program, Rossi's Black Ops skis spent years shrouded in secrecy. They were pressed in extremely limited quantities, with every detail containing more mystery and intrigue than the vaults of Area 51. All we knew was the length, the width, and the fact that they frickin ripped. With the unveiling of the full Black Ops line up, the 118s have been declassified and renamed the Rossignol Black Ops Gamer Skis. Luckily the recipe remains the same. Damp, muscular, and powerful, but incredibly easy to break free and pivot in soft snow, they're custom made for the hard charger looking to let loose during a storm and hoover up the leftovers the following day. Game on.
Tip Rocker – High
Tail Rocker – High
Camber – High
Pop: High – Higher pop translates to energized rebound for aggressive skiing, jumps, and responsive flex.
Poplar Wood Core – Poplar wood core balances weight, flex, and stability for a versatile blend of power and playfulness.
Extended Core – Extended Core increases snow contact and torsional stability for enhanced precision and control in varied snow conditions.
Damp Tech – A Damp Tech insert at the tip reduces ski vibration, absorbing irregularities in the terrain.
Diago Fiber – Race-developed Diago Fiber reduces weight and enhances responsiveness.
ABS Beam – The ABS Beam works like a platform under the foot, guaranteeing grip, smoothness, and heightened sensations on each turn.
Rectangular Sidewalls – Rectangular Sidewall constructions feature a horizontal layering of core materials (wood, fiberglass, metal, etc.) combined with full-length vertical sidewalls to deliver optimized edge grip, precision, balance, and power.
100% Recycled Steel
15% Recycled Topsheet
Sustainability – The BLACKOPS range has been developed with a strong focus on material sourcing and the product lifecycle. Each ski has been constructed using PEFC™ certified poplar or FSC® certified paulownia wood cores combined with recycled topsheet, base, and edge materials to help reduce their environmental impact.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
