The product of a love affair between Moment's two best designs - the Night Train and the Ghost Chant - The Moment Ghost Train is the next reference point in powder skis. It features a Radius Rocker for psycho slashing and surfing, a stiff core for stability on crud and an extended early taper to eliminate hooking. If that isn't enough awesome to grab your attention, the Ghost Train also has a near-center mount for a lower swing weight and improved fore/aft balance for reduced leg fatigue on those deep days. Handmade in Moment's Sparks, Nevada factory with carbon stringers and a lightweight Aspen / Pine core, the Ghost Train will take you on a ride to powder Nirvana.
Radius Rocker – Full rocker from tip to tail, with a center section that matches the sidecut radius under the binding. This profile provides ultimate float, surfy smoothness and unparalleled maneuverability in powder.
Flex Rating 7 (1 softest - 10 stiffest) – A stiffer flex to provide high-speed stability.
Aspen – Light in weight, durable in flex life, and poppy in nature
Pine – A versatile, poppy and damp wood that assists in tuning the flex pattern in the cores of Moment's park, all-mountain, and powder skis. It is a very strong material with great rebound properties and a long flex life.
Carbon Fiber – Moment uses carbon fiber in all of its skis, either in the form of woven uni-directional stringers or carbon tow threads added to the laminate matrix. Lighter than fiberglass, metal, or basalt, carbon helps tune and strengthen the ski while adding longevity to the flex profile.
Fiberglass Matrix – In addition to carbon fiber, Moment uses three types of fiberglass laminates to fine-tune each ski's flex pattern. Triaxial glass adds twisting strength and longitudinal stiffness. Biaxial weaves add torsional stiffness. Unidirectional glass helps absorb vibration and stiffen the ski from tip to tail.
Sublimated Graphics – A non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to silk screening.
UHMW Polyethylene – An extruded Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene: it is extremely light, durable, and resistant to separation.
1.2 mm Durasurf 4001 Sintered – This U.S.-made base material takes a beating while staying fast. It is harder and has better wax-absorbtion properties than extruded bases, making it the industry standard for performance and longevity.
2.2 mm Rockwell 48 C Hardened Steel – Heat-treated both at the source and in-house at Moment, these edges are extremely hard and ductile, ensuring you get the most life out of your skis.

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
