When things get a little too crazy, remember to Exit World. Head to the hills, head to the backcountry. Built around the old Bibby Pro, the Moment Exit World Skis are a big mountain, pow touring ski, or your daily driver. 115mm waist and Moustache Rocker keep the ski composed on hardpack but make it nimble and playful in softer snow. The Exit World gives you choices: how do you want to Exit World? Lightweight touring setup, sidecountry slayer, or lightweight inbounds shredder? V-shaped tail easily accommodates skins of your choice, no worrying about compatibility.
Moustache Rocker – Traditional camber underfoot with rocker at the tip and tail. Camber gives high-speed stability and edge hold on hardpack, while rocker at both ends feels loose and playful in variable snow.
8 / 10 – Stiff flex for a wide range of snow conditions.
Paulownia / Pine – Paulownia is exceptionally light in weight, with similar properties to aspen in terms of flex and rebound. Moment uses Paulownia as the core foundation for touring models, and add pine stringers for strength and a smooth ride.
Lowfat Layup – Uses 33% more carbon and lighter fiberglass to shave weight from the ski while still preserving snap and durability.
VDS (Vibration Dampening Strip)
Fiberglass Matrix – In addition to carbon fiber, Moment uses three types of fiberglass laminates to fine-tune each ski's flex pattern. Triaxial glass adds twisting strength and longitudinal stiffness. Biaxial weaves add torsional stiffness. Unidirectional glass helps absorb vibration and stiffen the ski from tip to tail.
Carbon Fiber Stringers – Moment uses carbon fiber in all of its skis, either in the form of woven uni-directional stringers or carbon tow threads added to the laminate matrix. Lighter than fiberglass, metal, or basalt, carbon helps tune and strengthen the ski while adding longevity to the flex profile.
Reinforced Binding Mount Layer
Nylon Topsheet
Extruded UHMW (Polyethylene) – Extremely light, durable, and resistant to separation.
1.2 mm Durasurf 4001 Sintered Base – This U.S. made base material takes a beating while staying fast. It is harder and has better wax-absorption properties than extruded bases, making it the industry standard for performance and longevity.
2.2 mm Rockwell 48 Steel Edges – Heat-treated both at the source and in-house at Moment, these edges are extremely hard and ductile, ensuring you get the most life out of your skis.
Artist – Young Monster
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
