Ever since their origin last year, the Liberty Origin Skis have been decorated with award after award and praised for their all-terrain charging ability. A multi-radius sidecut, rockered tip and tail, and slight under foot camber all work together to make a quick, easy turning ski that will excel in all snow covered environments. Testers raved that the Origin carves the same in crud as it does in powder thanks to it's hard-charging and carving mid section - make everyday a powder day with the Liberty Origin Skis.
Bomb Rocker – Full tip and tail rocker with slight positive camber under foot for maximum float and versatility.
Speed Core – Bamboo laminated with poplar for light weight, durability, and liveliness.
Fiber Reinforced Polymer – Liberty uses mats of this dense material under the binding area to increase screw retention and add rigidity.
Quadaxial Glass – Liberty's custom weave fiberglass creates tremendous torsional stability while allowing easy longitudinal flex to initiate turns and absorb terrain. While more expensive than other bi and tri- directional weaves, it enables Liberty to fine tune the flex characteristics of each ski.
Bamboo Backbone – Laminated bamboo gives tremendous rebound and energy while being environmentally friendly.
ABS and Whitewalls – Extra thick ABS helps reinforce against impacts and transmits energy for improved edge grip. Liberty's Whitewalls are made of resilient and repairable UHMW PE, for a smooth and durable ride.
Durathane – A Poly-Urethane bumper to smooth out the ride and protect against top sheet chipping.
P-Tex 2000
HRC 48 – Liberty's specially treated HRC 48 edges feature a wider profile with larger anchors for greater durability and longer life.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
