The K2 Remedy 117 Skis are the cure for what's been ailing you on powder days. With K2's widest women's platform and Powder Rocker in the tips for unmatched flotation in deep snow, you'll find yourself seeking the deepest lines on the mountain and loving those storm days. A twin tip profile lets you bring these babies around on a whim in narrow chutes or tight trees. When the snow gets tracked out, camber underfoot and All-Terrain Rocker in the tail ensure power, energy, and edge-hold. The K2 Remedy 117 skis work hard so you don't have to.
Powder Rocker Tip – Powder Rocker is designed for unmatched flotation in deep snow. This tip has the most elevation and longest rocker and offers skiers a surfy feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber still exists to ensure edgehold in firmer conditions.
All-Terrain Rocker Tail – Designed for all ability levels with added versatility and ease in all snow conditions. All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.
Progressive Sidecut – Progressive sidecut is a combination of two different radii, or sidecuts, that enhance the versatility of wider-waist skis. Standard sidecut theory is based on using a single radius. This works well on narrower skis, but becomes overpowering on wider skis, especially in variable conditions. The use of progressive sidecut on wider waist skis guarantees improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance.
Powder Tip – Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.
BioFlex 3 – A combination of 80% dense Aspen core underfoot is fused with 20% lightweight Paulownia at the tip and tail to increase performance with blended Bamboo throughout for strength and durability.
Triaxial Braid – Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.
TwinTech Sidewall – Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis. Traditional sidewall construction produces a 90 degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The TwinTech construction rolls the top material into the sidewall, reducing the topsheet angle and making the ski less prone to damage from your edges.
Swap Base – Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted.
K2 Tip Grommets/Skin Clip – The new freeride tip grommet is a low profile, clean and simple design that no longer requires a plug. The durable rubber coating disguises a slit designed to accommodate the Z clip for skin attachments, or to build a rescue sled.
Z-Clip skin compatible
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
