The Head Turbine 125 Skis were built for those pit-deep days spent blasting into typically unfathomable terrain and airing out of wife-worrying drops into nature's foam pit. With rockered tips and tails, camber underfoot, elastomeric stabilizing inlays, and a glass fiber exoskeleton, the Head Turbine 125 Skis boast effortless float and a chatter-free ride. Don't get caught in the deeps without a proper weapon, grab the Head Turbine 125 Skis and start praying for snow!
TNT Rocker – Tip and tail rocker combined with regular camber underfoot. This combination creates a surfy feel in powder while maintaining hard snow versatility.
Wood Core
Independent Suspension System (ISS) – Elastomeric vibration killers located in the tip, tail and underfoot. The elastomers quiet the vibrations that are commonly associated with rockered skis. Underfoot, the vibrations are dampened to provide the skier with a smooth ride.
Tip & Tail Stabilizer System (TTS) – TTS is a stabilizing exoskeleton which dampens the vibrations normally felt from rockered tips and tails, and also reduces overall swing weight and creates a ski with a playful yet high level of performance. The system is comprised of elastomeric inlay for vibration control as well as a glass fibre exoskeleton for stability and torsional strength. This combination not only reduces vibrations but creates better pressure distribution upon entry and exit of a turn by minimizing lateral flex of the ski.
Sandwich Cap Construction – Head takes the basic framework from its World Cup sandwich and adds a cap that just wraps over the top edge of the sidewall to make the ski more suitable for all mountain skiing. Bomber construction with a rounded top edge makes for one incredible all-mountain ski.
Tuffwalls – Impact resistant ABS sidewalls. Tuffwalls are designed to take a beating while enabling solid edgehold.
Structured Diecut UHM C Base – The same high quality material used in Head's world-leading race skis is used here. A structured running base for all conditions, this durable workhorse base material has die cut graphics for added flair.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
