If peak potential is what you're after, click into the Faction Prime 3.0 Skis. Built with a lightweight core and reinforced with TeXtreme Carbon laminates, these lightweight planks practically twinkle-toe their way up the mountain just so they can let loose when you drop in. A versatile 108mm waist and stiff flex give the Faction Prime 3.0 Skis the insatiable appetite needed to shred any conditions the mountain can muster.
430mm Tip Rocker / 2mm Camber / 450mm Progressive Tail Rocker
Flex Rating – 8 (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff)
Multi-Dimension Sidecut – Shorter radius underfoot with longer radii blended out to the tip and tail of the ski. Charges at high speeds whilst giving responsive, short turns when you need it.
Progressive Flat Tail
Lightweight Balsa / Pachaco Core
Titanal Binding Plate – When you're on a day-long touring trip in the backcountry, you need to rely on your gear. Titanal reinforcement plates are laid up on top of the lightweight cores ensuring that your binding screws hold. This one-piece design fits alpine and touring bindings, adding trustworthy durability to these lightweight cores.
TeXtreme Carbon – Proprietary 'spread-tow' weave makes the laminate thinner and stronger than regular carbon. A full layer, strategically laid up gives excellent torsional stability across the ski without compromising weight.
Full Strength Sidewall – This construction places strips of protective material along the sides of each core, between the edge and the topsheet. Sidewalls provide the best possible edge hold and stability when the ski is engaged in a turn as well as protecting the wood core, edges and topsheet from impacts and outside damage.
Micro Cap – A hybrid of a premium sandwich sidewall construction fused with a lightweight, durable cap construction. With micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides awesome edge hold and torsional stability while the ski's topsheet wraps around and meets the sidewall, protecting the fragile joint that can be prone to chipping.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
