An awesome park ski with a bit of extra width for those surprise pow days, the Dynastar Distorter Skis git 'r done with snappy Springblade cores and Dynastar's Twin Rocker profile that rides equally well regular or switch. Dynastar is known for building skis with incredible stability and edgehold, and that philosophy filters down to their Twin series as well - you won't find yourself wishing you hadn't brought your park skis when the snow turns icy or the pace gets feverish when you're riding the Distorter.
Twin Rocker – Long, progressive rockers in the tip and tail, with a more radical height. The load-bearing length is reduced to a minimum, giving the twin-tips exceptional pivot. The tip and tail of the skis are freed, so they pivot effortlessly in all types of snow. Flotation is easier, and even possible in switch. Ideal for powder skiing, especially in wooded terrain. Once back on the piste, the ski's natural camber and progressive rocker guarantee excellent All Mountain performance.
Spring Blade Core Technology – Spring Blade is a machined Wood Core of varying thickness and the layering of the different fiber layers with different lengths offer extraordinary flex. This gives the ski awesome energy for jumping (pop effect) and great shock absorption when landing. This technology, when combined with specific sidecuts, offers riders the ideal mix for freestyle in both park & pipe and also in the backcountry.
Traditional sandwich technology with a wood and fiberglass core gives the ski enormous fluidity and responsiveness. The absence of titanal sheets reduces weight significantly.
Full Length Vertical Sidewalls – Deliver the ultimate edge grip, power and balance
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
