A fine all mountain ski that excels on both groomed and ungroomed snow, the Dynastar Cham 2.0 97 Skis are light enough to double as a touring ski when mounted with an alpine touring binding. The newly revised Cham 2.0 sidecut and rocker profile work in concert to provide a great combination of easy handling and superb edge grip.

Freeride Tip and Tail Rocker – Moderate tip rocker combined with camber and a mildly rockered, tapered pin-tail.
Sidecut
Progressive 5-Point Sidecut – Effortless maneuverability and smearing. Quick, easy turns and speed control. Carves and turns well on groomed snow.
Core
Lightweight Paulownia – Balanced and symmetrical core is 25% lighter than the previous generation Cham series, with a more consistent flex.
Laminates
Binding Reinforcement – Reinforcement under the binding mount area, in compliance with ISO 8364 standard, ensures compatibility with all ski binding mounts (Alpine, Touring, Telemark, Insert, etc) provided the mounting screws are also compliant with these standards.
Sidewalls
Full Vertical Sidewalls – Full-length vertical sidewalls deliver optimum snow feel, balance, precision, power and stability.
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm. Alpine Touring Also known as backcountry skis, alpine touring (AT) skis are designed for going uphill as well as downhill. These skis are typically light for their width and many feature fittings that accept climbing skins. AT skis vary in width and weight, with the wider heavier versions usually used for winter/deep snow touring and the skinnier, lighter skis usually used for spring/summer/long distance touring.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
