Atomic Affinity Air Skis + XTL 9 Lady Bindings - Women's 2012: The Atomic Affinity Air Skis are a true confidence builder for weekend mountain goers or those transitioning to adult equipment. Designed to be forgiving with a go anywhere mentality, the Affinity Air starts with a 74mm waist for easy edge-to-edge but is wide enough for the more adventurous with off-piste skiing. A basic Cap Fiber construction and lightweight composite core allow the Affinity Air to be smooth with edge hold. Adaptive Rocker helps keep the tips of the Affinity Air from hanging up in choppy snow and makes turn initiation effortless and almost instant.

Bindings
The XTL 9 Lady Bindings allow the Affinity Air’s to flex naturally for excellent edge contact and bump absorption. This full-flex, twin pivot binding creates consistent power application using a rail plate: the toe and heel adjust on the rail and the center of the binding is fixed to the ski. Long, automatically adjusting toe wings increase contact zone with boot for precise boot hold and enhanced energy transmission to edges. Automatic toe height adjustment ensures a proper fit without using tools. Din range: 2.5-9

Rocker/Camber Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
