With the help of pro rider Raimi Merrit and Greg Nelson, Hyperlite was able to create the perfect shape for advanced female riders for the 2013 Hyperlite Maiden Wakeboard. The Maiden is a continuous rocker for a fast ride that will carve and edge with ease. The base of the board features Tapered Channels, narrow at the tip and aligning the Dual Fin Configuration to increase the board's edge hold when approaching the wake. This helps deliver a huge pop off the wake. The Maiden has a thinner profile and reduced tail and tip width to minimize swing weight for easy rotations. Complete with a women's specific Satin flex and Dual Molded Landing features, the Maiden is a perfect board for female riders who go big.
Continuous Rocker – Designed to carry great speed into the wake with minimal drag, a Continuous rocker generates a longer trajectory with similar pop every time.
Minimum Swing Weight Profile
Layered Glass – Over time traditional woven glass fiber will begin to seperate, but Hyperlite's layered glass ensures that its decks will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Satin Flex – Tailored specifically to the needs of smaller and lighter rider's, a softer glass layup creates a softer flex and a board built to female and youth rider standards.
Variable Edge Design – By blending sharper edges where you want them with rounder edges where you don't, this construction technique offers exceptional edge control while maintaining agility and playfulness.
Monocoque Construction – The top glass and bottom glass are integrated into one structure, generating a more durable board on side impact and thus preventing delamination.
Biolite 3 Core – Cooked up in the Hyperlite labs, this is the secret recipe that Hyperlite has continued to perfect from day one. The industry's gold standard core material starts with Bio 3 foam and then is wrapped in layered glass. This yields a core that is strong enough for the best athletes but also perfect for the first time rider, and it is lighter and more durable than any Bio core that has come before.
