ThumbDrive™ hook/loop cuff closures

Lockdown™ – Featured on Outdoor Research Sidecountry ski jackets and pants, this is designed to secure each to the other, eliminating the risk of exposure to snow and cold air. Snap closure tabs located on the jacket’s powder skirt slide through and connect with the pants belt loops, thereby connecting jacket to pant and locking out the elements.

RECCO® Avalanche Recovery System – A two-part avalanche rescue system utilized worldwide to facilitate the rapid location of burials: The reflector – permanently attached to select Outdoor Research ski and Sidecountry apparel – and detector – a handheld device used by ski patrols the world over – enable rapid pinpointing using harmonic radar. Complementary to a transceiver in function, the RECCO® system increases the chance of being found in time.

Thumbdrive™ – An elegant solution to a common problem, the ThumbDrive™ cuffs on Outdoor Research ski jackets can be used as standard cuff closures or as thumb loops, securing the position of the sleeves and preventing their riding up, eliminating the risk of exposure to snow, cold air, and the elements.
