If you're a beginner skier, what you have heard about ski boots is totally false. The Tecnica Esprit 8 Ski Boots are the opposite of a 'foot jail', they are built for one thing: comfort. The 104mm width won't cause any pressure points and a cushy liner provides the utmost in foot-swaddling comfort. A flex index of 60 provides enough support for new skiers to master the basics but retains the all-day comfort you crave. Combined, the Esprit 8 boots are probably the most comfortable out there; put them on for a day of skiing, and wear them to the club later, you'll never know!

Last: 104 mm – A wide, comfort last.
Mega Progressive Cushioning System – Combines changes to the last (width), liner, and footbed for extreme comfort as well as enhanced shock absorption.
Viva Flared Scalloped Calf Technology – Both the liner and spoiler feature a lower scalloped design, which allows versatility in fitting various calf sizes.
Viva Calf Adapter Construction – Softer material cut into a V-shape on the upper sides of the liner to allow for greater accommodation of lower leg shapes.

Flex: 60 – Forgiving yet solid enough to teach the basics.
Progressive Flex System – Boots provide a flex proportional to the skiers' relative size by modifying the plastic thickness in the spine of the lower shell. This allows a consistent flex throughout the size range.
