Unchanged for 2020, the highly successful K2 Recon 120 MV Ski Boots rock on with their ultra light Powerlite Shell construction and comfy 100 mm last. With a 120 flex that's just slightly softer than the stiffest 130 flex recreational boots, the Recon 120 MV has proven perfect for skiers who tend to stray from the groomed path a bit more than average, with a more forgiving personality in soft snow and tight spaces.
Last – 100mm
Custom Thermo Shell – The shell can be heat molded, punched, ground and customized with your favorite boot fitter for optimized comfort and performance. The shell can be widened up to 6 mm with this process.
Flex: 120 – A stiff flex suitable for advanced to expert level skiers.
PrecisionFit Pro – Pre-molded and lasted with Ultralon heat moldable foams. Features an asymmetric tongue, pre-molded ankle pockets and a high density power collar for a firm but comfortable performance fit.
Powerlite Shell – The totally new Powerlite shell is purpose-built to result in the best skiing, lightest weight boots ever produced. Made with four different stiffnesses of TPU and optimized wall thickness profiling, the Powerlite shell achieves a paradoxical balance of lightweight agility and power. The resulting boots weigh in as some of the lightest alpine boots on the market, yet they ski with all the power and drive of heavier boots.
PowerFuse SpYne – A rear co-injected “Y” shaped design that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock, the PowerFuse SpYne maximizes fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness for sustained performance and responsiveness in all terrain. Because of the SpYne, K2 is able to optimize materials in the cuff and shell, eliminating excessive vibrations in rough terrain.
Energy Interlock – A rivet-free technology that integrates the cuff and shell, putting less stress on the boot's material and produces a smoother, progressive flex.
FastFit Instep – Softer TPU materials designed into the instep area of the Powerlite shell for quick and easy entry and exit
Cuff Alignment Index – Dual sided cuff alignment for +/- 2˚ of cuff adjustment.
Forward Lean – 12˚ (14˚ with Power Wedge)
4 Aluminum Micro-Adjustable Lightweight Buckles
45mm PowerCinch Power Strap
Cantable Outsoles
Dual Material Replaceable ISO 5355 Outsoles
GripWalk® Outsoles Available Separately – Removable and interchangeable ISO 9523 alpine rockered soles collaboratively designed to work with Marker's GripWalk binding system for better grip and added comfort when walking and standing in boots, but doesn't compromise the power transmission and release function between the boot and binding when skiing.
