If you have a wider forefoot and need a boot with a stiff, responsive flex and all mountain capability - the Dalbello Panterra 120 ID Ski Boots are for you. Dalbello's classic Cabrio Design Architecture delivers consistent, strong performance, and the fully heat-moldable I.D. Thermo Now Liner provides seamless customization and added warmth. If you often find yourself hiking or touring outside of the resort, the Panterra 120 has a hike/ski mechanism and an adjustable flex. On days when you want to bomb through crud, trust the heavy duty 120 flex; when the snow is soft and you want a boot that skis more playfully, adjust the flex down to 110. With a rubber clad hiking sole and an adjustable heel inclinator, this boot is designed to exceed expectations on any mountain adventure.
100-102mm Last – Dalbello's VVF technology gives this boot an adjustable forefoot last that can vary from 100 mm to 102 mm simply by closing the front buckle in a different notch.
Variable Volume Fit (VVF) System – This exclusive Dalbello technology was developed to permit skiers to regulate overall forefoot width from 100 mm to 102 mm using the toe buckle. Dalbello advises you to "set it and forget it" - once your width has been set, Panterra models may be skied, put on, and taken off with the remaining 3 buckles.
Contour 4 Shell Fit – Contour 4 Technology is a revolutionary technological advance in performance ski boot fitting. The anatomical contours of the inside sidewalls of the boot-shell, as well as the innerboot lasts, are precisely “mapped” to the shape of the typical high performance skier’s foot. A little extra “space” is molded into the inside of the boot shell at 4 critical fit points: ankle, heel, 5th metatarsal, and navicular.
Split Fit Tongue – Dalbello’s Split-Fit Tongue has a unique fore-aft sliding design that allows the tongue to accommodate a taller instep comfortably. The sliding function also allows for extremely easy entry and exit.
Flex: 120 – Stiff but not too stiff, this adjustable flex is the perfect compromise between all mountain mobility and big mountain control.
Adjustable Flex – With the turn of an allen key, a function on the back of the cuff allows you to adjust the boot's flex from 120 down to 110.
I.D. (Intuition®/Dalbello) Thermo Now Liner – Developed by Dalbello's R&D department in conjunction with Intuition® Sport, I.D. Thermo Liners offer full-liner customization upon heat molding, even in the sole. With the I.D. Thermo Now, heat molding is optional, so the boot can also be worn right out of the box. The Now Liner has a no-tongue overlapping cuff and is made with SuperSoft Density Intuition® EVA foam for maximum comfort and cushioning. With highly elastic contouring properties, the Now Liner is lightweight, warm, and provides great performance.
Cabrio Design Architecture – Dalbello’s critically acclaimed, 3 Piece Cabrio Design architecture has been the cornerstone of their performance, all mountain, and freestyle models for more than a decade. This unique construction combines a 3 piece construction assembly - shell/cuff/tongue – that comfortably secures the foot and lower leg while optimizing smooth and progressive flexibility. Dalbello’s Cabrio models provide the ultimate in responsive performance to ski your best. Cabrio Design permits the use of stiffer and more rigid plastics in the lower shell. This strengthens the support around the foot and lower leg providing quick response and precise transfer of power to the ski edges. This design also prevents the lower shell from distorting and bulging as the boot flexes, making the boot more smooth and stable at high speeds and on irregular terrain.
Kinetic Response Tongue – Highly resilient polyamide (Nylon) tongue provides enhanced sensitivity. Improves responsiveness and control.
Shell/Cuff/Tongue – PU (Polyurethane) / PU / PA (Polyamide)
Center Balanced "Rocker" Stance – Foot angle, cant angle, and cuff inclination engineered into the shell and cuff positions skiers in a balanced and centered stance for optimum dynamic performance.
Adjustable Cuff Alignment – Permits skiers to align the lateral inclination of the upper cuff to the skier’s leg. Outside hinge cuff alignment using 5mm hex tool, rotate the mechanism clockwise, or counterclockwise, to align boot cuff to desired position.
Adjustable Heel Inclinator – Raising or lowering the heel inside the boot can improve rearfoot and ankle comfort for some skiers. Changing foot angle also changes fore/aft balance which can improve ski response and turn initiation for some skiers.
Ski/Hike Mechanism – Thin, lightweight, and compact, this advanced "hike/ski" control combines extended range of hiking/walking motion with solid, sensitive and powerful ski control. Dalbello's Cabrio Design Architecture allows for a highly functional hike mode with no compromise in skiing performance.
4 F16 Aluminum Micro-Adjustable Buckles
Dynalink Rearfoot Retention – Dynalink is an independently functioning heel/instep closure band assembly that secures the skier's foot in the middle and rearfoot sections of the ski boot. During boot flex, the Dynalink band does not permit the foot to slide forward or the heel to lift lifting inside the boot shell.
Velcro
Rubber Clad Hike Sole – Bi-injection polyurethane toes and heels and rubber arch clad provide durability, stability and traction while walking and climbing.
Replaceable Xtra-Grip™ Rubber Toes and Heels
