The Black Diamond JetForce 26L Tour Pack is a lightweight, rechargeable way to add the safety of an avalanche airbag to your backcountry kit. The JetForce Tour uses the innovative Alpride E1 airbag system, which swaps out the lithium ion battery found in the standard JetForce in favor of a lightweight supercapacitor, which gives you more consistent performance at extreme temperatures in addition to cutting weight. The pack is fully featured for backcountry touring, and the no-cost deployment system recharges in the field via two AA batteries for dependability, increased safety in critical situations, and multiple uses in one practice session.

Alpride E1 System – Featuring a fully-electronic, turbine-based fan system powered by supercapacitors, the Alpride E1 system is cartridge free, making travel easy, and it charges via a micro USB and two AA batteries. The system is compact and simple to use, with a single on/off switch and blinking status indicator lights that can be visibly checked from the outside of the pack while being worn. Once the pack is deployed, two AA batteries will recharge the capacitors in less than one hour while in the field.
Shoulder Strap Deploy Trigger – Mechanical trigger can be switched to either the left or right shoulder strap.

Warning – Wearing an airbag backpack is no guarantee of survival in an avalanche. Backcountry travelers are highly advised to educate themselves in snow stability assessment, route finding, and companion rescue and carry all of the conventional avalanche gear in addition to the airbag.
Rechargeable Supercapacitor – Charges in 20 minutes via micro-USB, or 40 minutes via two AA batteries for multiple deployments in the field.
