Yeti didn't invent the wheel, but they were among the first to harness its true potential on dirt. They scored podiums for fun back when "mullet" still referred to hair rather than a strange looking wheel configuration, and more often than not it was on an ARC. Needless to say, the Yeti Cycles ARC C1 Complete Mountain Bike is a stone cold classic risen from the ashes. This hardtail is really down for whatever, like those bikes of old: it's just as happy to give you pinpoint precision on a tech climb as it is to roast a jump line or fly down singletrack. It sports a slack head angle and solid construction that shines everywhere. This one is the classic of tomorrow.
C/Series Carbon Frame – By making small changes in the carbon fiber layup of their TURQ Series bikes, Yeti was able to create a more aggressively priced carbon high-performance mountain bike. C-Series frames maintain the strength and stiffness of the TURQ Series. The carbon fiber in C-Series weighs a bit more, about 190g per frame. Every bike model is offered in at least one C-Series option with high-end components.
Internal Cable Routing – This may seem like a small thing, but having a clean aesthetic on the frame along with internally molded carbon tubes inside for hassle-free cable routing is key. It makes for a quiet ride and ease of maintenance. For Yeti, building a great frame is all about the details.
Integrated Axle and Hanger – The integrated axle and derailleur hanger system is built for simplicity and strength. Utilizing a left-hand thread to secure the hanger allows Yeti to incorporate the same machine piece for the axle retention. A clever little system the engineers spent many hours on that might get overlooked.
Integrated Frame Protection – The frame protectors for the down tube and chainstay are custom molded to match the frame. This guarantees a proper fit and adhesion to the frame for years of protection without the need for replacement or additional adhesives.
148mm Rear Axle Spacing
2 Bottle Cage Mounts
Fox 34 Performance – With a Float EVOL air spring and GRIP damper, this solid fork is amazingly supple for how solid it feels. The ultimate trail companion, you can count on the 34 to get up and down the mountain, every time.
Fork Adjustments – FIT GRIP 3-Position Lever (Open, Medium, Firm), Rebound Adjust, Air Spring Pressure
VVC (Variable Valve Control) – VVC is a proprietary variable valve control system that allows for external fine-tuning of suspension performance. VVC achieves with the twist of a knob what typically requires the time consuming and complicated task of completely disassembling and reassembling the fork.
Shimano SLX – SLX is ready to go wherever and whenever you want, whether it’s an all-day epic, the local cross country race, or a post-work ride with your buddies. It won’t let you down.
Shimano Deore 2-Piston Brakeset – Consistent braking performance and reliable stopping power in all conditions. The 2-piston caliper instills greater downhill confidence and control with that legendary Shimano feel.
DT Swiss E 532 – Riders who like the idea of giving their tires some extra volume and support will find the ideal partner with the E 532. Its full 30 mm of inner width together with a minimal hook and perfect tubeless compatibility make it ready to tackle all demanding trails, both up and down the mountain.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it's hard to find fault with the Minion DHF. That's probably why it's one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking.
Maxxis Rekon Rear Tire – The Rekon is an aggressive trail tire inspired by the Ikon for intermediate and technical terrain. Wide knobs down the middle provide control under braking and L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns. With confidence like this you can race more and scout less with the Rekon.
OneUp Dropper Post – This post offers the shortest stack height and shortest total length of any dropper post, all with smooth, trouble-free actuation. No other post can get your saddle lower.
