Your Revel Rail 29 GX Complete Mountain Bike is testament to your commitment to mountain biking. Equal parts tech and feel, the Rail is aggressive and subdued - depending on your mood. The 29" Rail offers beefier hardware, more efficient climbing, and a well-tuned CBF™ suspension platform that will happily pedal all dang day, seeing sights and taking breaks to smell the flowers. No problem. When you feel like getting absolutely irresponsible, though, the Rail 29 transforms into a snarling beast of a bike, confidently eating up the chunkiest terrain and leaving you hungry for more.
Carbon Fiber Frame – Revel uses a mix of Japanese Toray T700 and T800 fibers in their frames, but the real magic is in the angles. Most bike frames use a selection of 0-, 45-, and 90-degree fibers, since these are the most readily available and easiest to work with. Revel frames are optimized using more 30/60-degree fibers, which, when laid up properly, create stronger and stiffer tubing and shapes, using less material.
CBF Suspension – CBF™ focuses on designing rear suspension around the Center of Curvature (CC). Until now, most suspension systems have focused solely on the instant center. CBF points the chain-line and corresponding drive forces around the top of the chainring through 100 percent of the travel. This results in maximum pedaling efficiency regardless of terrain, where you are in the travel, or what kind of power you’re putting down.
RockShox Super Deluxe Select Rear Shock – Super Deluxe Select is built for the latest breed of hard hitting enduro and trail bikes. Offering the ride control you need paired with a user-friendly threshold adjustment all rolled into a great high performance-to-value package. They even threw in Maxima Plush fluid to reduce friction and silence noise.
Shock Adjustments – Separate and Independent Open / Threshold Positions, Air Spring Pressure, External Rebound
Integrated Revel Chainguide – This lil’ guy will hold your chain on your chainring and is super easy to adjust—all while maintaining simplicity and clean aesthetics. Optimized around SRAM DUB cranks and BBs.
Internal Routing – Revel’s full-carbon tubes are molded in one piece onto the inside of the carbon frame tubes. Not only does this provide structural improvement to the frame, but also allows you to route an entire frame in about a minute. No rattling, no noise, and no fishing cables out of frames.

DVO Diamond D1 Fork – The Diamond is a do-it-all but cut-no-corners fork that caters to the aggressive rider that demands more. A precision-designed chassis and 35mm stanchions provide control in the movement of “ultimate shred” and increased tire clearance ensures reliability when the riding gets dirty. When going up to get down, this is the Diamond in the rough.

SRAM Code R – For superior braking power, SRAM built Code R with their DirectLink lever mated to an oversized four-piston caliper. Finger ergonomics adapt with a tool-free reach adjust - offering a perfect balance of all forces: reliable, practical and - naturally - powerful.
SRAM Centerline Rotors – The CenterLine design provides a smooth, consistent, and quiet running braking surface. Rounded edges make for easier wheel installs and are UCI-compliant.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it's hard to find fault with the Minion DHF. That's probably why it's one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking. Whether riding local trails, a backcountry epic, racing enduro or World Cup downhill, there's a Minion DHF spec to meet your needs.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Tires – With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo!
